With new construction starts stagnating, manufacturers of residential equipment predict that the home renovation market will grow in the future. It goes without saying that the LP gas business—which relies on ongoing customer relationships—is highly compatible with the renovation sector. In this seminar, the Japan Housing Renovation Industry Association (JERCO) will deliver a keynote presentation introducing the “One-Room Insulation Subsidy Program,” which it is promoting with the support of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).It has been demonstrated that insulating just one room in an existing home can extend residents’ healthy life expectancy, and this program is being implemented through collaboration between the national government and local municipalities. In addition, there will be case studies presented by renovation companies and LP gas distributors, as well as presentations and exhibits showcasing services designed to support the growth of renovation businesses.
