According to the government’s Earthquake Research Committee, there is approximately a 90% probability that a massive earthquake with a magnitude of 8 to 9 will occur in the Nankai Trough within the next 40 years. As such, the formulation of business continuity plans (BCPs)—aimed at enabling companies and local governments to respond quickly and recover in the event of large-scale earthquakes or torrential rain disasters caused by climate change—is considered crucial for restoring daily life.Furthermore, an earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity of 7 struck the Noto Peninsula in January 2024, further heightening awareness of the risks posed by large-scale disasters.
At the Disaster Prevention Industry Expo 2025, we will introduce the latest technology trends, including a hands-on demo area where even first-time users can easily try out the high-precision 3D measurement app “Scanat "—which is easy for first-time users to operate and can be readily adopted by small and medium-sized enterprises and sole proprietors—as well as consultation sessions where company representatives can discuss various challenges they face, all while showcasing the latest technology trends.
