I Will Be Speaking at a Seminar Hosted by the Kansai Chapter of the Interior Industry Association

A sophisticated, modern bedroom. The wall behind the headboard features a vertical louver design, topped by curved indirect lighting. Lighting is also installed at the foot of the bed frame, creating a sense of floating. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the nightscape, and the room is decorated in soothing shades of gray and warm lighting.

町田瑞穂ドロテア, our Chief Design Officer, will be speaking at the seminar titled “Practical Techniques for Indirect Furniture Lighting as Interior Elements,” hosted by the Kansai Branch of the Japan Interior Industry Association (Public Interest Incorporated Association) on Friday, February 6, 2026.

*Please note that this seminar is already fully booked.

Seminar Content

In this seminar, we will provide a detailed explanation of the features and functions of next-generation COB tape lights — which utilize advanced LED technology and are attracting attention as the latest lighting trend in Europe.

On the day of the event, through demonstrations using actual lights and hands-on workshops, you’ll be able to learn practical, real-world applications —such as connection methods and app features—through hands-on experience.

We’ll also introduce ways to create indirect lighting that highlights your furniture, as well as practical technical techniques, specific applications, and recommended apps.

In the second half of the seminar, we plan to visit the Häfele Japan Osaka Showroom, where you’ll have the opportunity to see display furniture fixtures that incorporate LED strip lights and the latest European furniture hardware.
